One-time catch-up

1. AI Writer → filter post type to product.
2. Run Bulk Meta Titles and Bulk Meta Descriptions (fill missing first; regenerate-all later if the old copy is weak).
3. Run Bulk Alt Text. Product images are your image-search inventory; the AI writes from the file name and the product text, so check the ones that matter.
4. Run Bulk Focus Keywords so every product has a target.
5. Skim the Activity Log; retry any failures with one click.

Keep it automatic

In Settings → AI → Automation, switch on Auto-generate Meta. Under Settings → General → Image SEO, set Alt text for new images to Written by AI. From then on, a new product gets a meta title and description when you publish it without one, and new images get alt text. The backlog never returns.

Category pages by hand

Deliberately manual: your category pages are your money pages. Give each one a focus keyword, a precise title and a short buying-guide text yourself. This is judgment work, and it is where commercial rankings are won.

Monthly

Run Optimize Low Scores once a month to catch products whose scores slipped, and glance at Old links in Links for dead product URLs that deserve a redirect to their category.
